OPEN WOD 20.2 10/18/19 (Reps, Rx2, Rx3) 20 min AMRAP: 4-DB Thrusters* 6-Toes to Bar 24-Double Unders *If a class is short on DB's, athletes not registered for the open may also use KB's with comparable weights. Tip: This is a long workout with a short amount of reps per round. Don't sprint out of the gate, establish a steady, consistent pace early on that allows you to keep moving. This workout is grip intensive. If you need to break up a movement, TTB would be recommended as it will have the least transition time. You should be able to complete your DB Thrusters unbroken at the level you choose. Stay calm on the jump rope and try to relax your grip. PLEASE DON'T DROP YOUR DB'S! Purpose: This workout tests grip strength, aerobic capacity, neurological and core endurance, as well as mental toughness. These are all elements we are trying to develop to become well rounded athletes!
