METCON 2/8/19(Reps, Rx+, Rx2, Rx3) 12 min AMRAP: Alt DB Snatch-12 reps (50#/35#) Goblet Squat-12 reps (50#/35#) Shuttle Run w/ DB 40 m (50#/35#)* *Every 10 m of shuttle run counts as a rep. 4 reps for each completed run. 28 reps per round. Goal: 224+ Reps (8 rounds+) Tip: Transition from the DB Snatch to the goblet squat quickly to use your time efficiently. While running, try to hold your DB in a way that doesn't fatigue your arms before your next set of DB snatches. Purpose: The goblet squat is a valuable tool to train for life. There are many times we have to perform a squat while holding an odd object. Just a few examples include: picking up furniture while moving, lifting up a child who has fallen asleep and needs to be carried upstairs to bed, or retrieving a box of heavy supplies off the ground at work. Purple Rx+: 60#/40# Blue Rx: As written Orange Rx2: 35#/20# Yellow Rx3: 20#/12# White MODWOD: Sub air squat, unweighted shuttle run
